今回の WWDC07 のジョブズの基調講演について、maclalalaweblog「藤シローのマック・ラ・ラ・ラ」に注目すべき記事がのっていた。
6月12日付「重要なのは Leopard ではなく Safari だ：Paul Thurrott」という記事、Paul Thurrott's Internet Nexus の「Safari, Not Leopard, is the Real News at Apple Show」の紹介なのだ。

ノーだ、未来は Safari にあるのだ。まず iPhone で動かす。それからたくさんのデバイスで動くようになる。コンピュータだろうと、コンピュータ以外のデバイスだろうと・・・。覚えておいてほしい。ケイタイのマーケットはデスクトップ PC よりはるかに大きいのだ。とても大きい・・・No, the future is Safari. First, running on iPhone. Later, running on any number of devices. Traditional and non-computer devices. Remember that the cell phone market is much bigger than the market for desktop PCs. This is big.
